All Time Favorite

Love These! I buy these by the bucket. No, really I do. I give them away to people I work with too because I love them so much and I want them to get some love.

The best part is that they don't dry out like other wipes because of the plastic lid. Totally not eco friendly and I probably will lose much of my eco credit because of this. Oh well its worth it.
I wait till they are on sale and get several when I order. ELF is very affordable and I have even found it at the dollar store. I prefer the studio line, which is their high end, but its so dirt cheap that I don't mind one bit. I love having these in my purse in my car, in my desk at work.
It has a nice scent to it but not anything overwhelming. I have used the Korres pomegranate wipes and these are no where as strong. These are gentle enough for using to take off eye makep but gets the most stubborn face makeup off too.
Would I buy again, yeah I have already ordered another bucket!
Price: $3.00

If you sign up for emails, you will get them quite often but they have loads of sales. Right now for members (meaning you gave them your email) they are having a 60% of sale. See what I mean!!!

Fell in love with Ruby

Ruby Woo that is! Its from MAC and has to be in my top two red lipsticks.

Check out the color. OOh so pretty. I love that it is matte. From what I understand is that Matte stays longer than cream.
You can see from the photo below that the red is very matte. Its not the easiest to apply. I am very use to just swiping and going on about my business. This one gives a bit of a tug to move across your lips but it is worth the trouble because with a color this bright you have to make sure that you have it in the right place.

On a side note, I put some glitter on this using some OCC tip tar and the tiniest bit of gloss. It looked awesome and wore really well for a good couple of hours. Now I do recommend the lip liner in brick.
Would I buy it again, Hell Yeah! I understand why this color is a cult favorite. Its a permanent shade from what the lady at the counter told me.

NOTD ~ OPI Caught me

This is from My Friday Nail polish buy from Image Beauty.
Its so a me color. Blue sparkles with green shimmer effect to it.
This outside pic doesn't do it justice. Again, my technical skills with blogger are not the greatest with getting the pictures to show up right side up! Where is a help desk call when you need one!
Outside again, the color is called Catch me in your net.
Here it is outside the day after I applied it. I really hope it doesn't stain my nails. I have gotten stained nails from blues and green polishes. Its already starting to chip, which stinks because I have not been typing nearly as much as I do in a normal day at work.
I am trying to figure out the settings on my camera a little better so I can give you those great close up shots.
Would I buy again. Nope. I found recently that micas that I got for a buck work really well for this same shade. Am I sad that I purchased it? Nope. I consistency that the sparkles have after I applied and its a new favorite for now.

Sleek the original

My first Sleek Palette!
Also called the original palette, no that's it name. The original. Cool enough. This makeup company is based out of England and is available in their drugstores. It was originally made for women of color. Which is wonderful because a lot of makeup made specifically with Brown Ladies in mind has a lot of pigment.
I got this as a present from my friend as a congrats for going to the gym for a month straight. I still go and do enjoy it! She had went to England for a wedding and was nice enough to snag this one up for me. It has a ton of wearable work shades and had a couple of funky blues and greens to kick it up a notch. Bonus it is so creamy! I have used this palette before and in the future too with just my fingers. It blends so easily that you would think the formulation is high end.
Actually it blends better than some of my high end shadows.
As you can see I already been using this one for a while, but I like it so much I just had to share! All of the Sleek palettes that I have seen have so far have a black matte shadow as to blend in with all of the beautiful colors.
It did come with a sponge tip applicator but I lost it or threw it away.
Here is the web address for the company below. The company doesn't currently sell in the US so you have to order online and wait for international shipping. Also not all palettes that you see on European blogs and youtube videos are not available to ship. Weird, huh?

CCO Score and Fail!

CCO score! The fail later. CCO is the Cosmetic Company Outlet. They sell discounted Estee Lauder, MAC, Origins, Bobbi Brown and others that I can't seem to remember. Makeup Geek has listed on her forum pages the list of all CCO's across the USA so check it out I will give her website address below. But if you have found my little blog, I would be surprised if you don't already know about MUG and her Muggies. (Does anyone else think of Harry Potter or is it just me? Just saying)
This was from the holiday 2009 collection and it is the warm colors. Five miniature lipglasses. Now the lipglasses are smaller in general from the dazzleglasses and these are much smaller than those. It wasn't bad at all though for the quality of the gloss and CCO price.
It comes in Pinkular which looks copper gold; Gitane which is a darker rose gold; Magnetique which in my opinion looks like a perfect gloss of MAC's Show Orchid with some blue sparkles. Instant gold is pretty much self explanatory, its a light gold color with gold sparkles. Now the fail, the 5th gloss is lost. I don't remember what is its name. Ugh. Its the one in the middle picture right in the middle. I loved the dark purple and grabbed it out of my bag and had it on before I hit the car. I had it for the pictures above but now can't find it. Its probably lost in my black hole of a purse, aka everything but the kitchen sink I carry around.
In the pictures above you can see that some of the glosses have separated, but no worries cause all you have to do is pump the wand a couple of times and it is remixed. The weird thing that caught my attention is that three have doe foots and two have brush applicators. Weird, huh?
Would I buy these again, yep. Most definitely. CCO though. I like the holiday packaging and that you can get a couple of different ones to try for a nice price.

Ingolt 541 Lipgloss

Inglot gloss!!!
Its a duo chrome that I am in love with. I picked it up a couple of weeks ago with my Mom in NYC at the only U.S. store. :o(

It runs comparable to MAC lip gloss prices. More than $8 but less than $16. Sorry, I can't remember and forgot to write down the price.
As you can see from the pictures above it looks white but if you catch it right in the light it has a blue tone to it. I love this gloss because it gives me the ability to add a blue tone to lipsticks I own. Orange based lipsticks tend not to look so good on me. For some reason it just brings out a lot of redness in my skin. So this helps mute it down the orange and lets me use lipsticks I got that looked great in the tube but not so great on.
It has a doe foot applicator and has 5ml/0.17 US fl oz.
It has a slight smell of tangerine or tangelos to it, but I don't find it to harsh. Everyone is different with smells so that might be something to keep in mind. This is a Polish brand and has been showing up at MakeUp Trade shows in the U.S. and has quite a following in Europe.
Unfortunately there is only one store in the U.S. and its in Times Square. Here is the address :
Inglot
1592 Broadway
New York, NY 10036 - 1526
Here is to hoping they open up more locations!

Happy 4th Of July!!

Happy 4th of July! Quick post. Its hot outside and I was going to head over to Philly today to go to the art museum (thanks Mom for the membership!) and look at my fave paintings. Duh, its closed today! They are doing a big 4th of July special today and fireworks today. Alas, tomorrow morning possibly before I go to my friends house to play with makeup and take some photos! Yippee!!
Have fun today and be safe! I am heading out to the park with little man *aka Lincoln* and give him a good run in the woods. Hopefully not too many people will be out there at the dog park. He is a little dog and the big ones tend to roll him or generally piss him off! LOL.
If you got time check out Enkore's 4th of July short nails tutorial. So cool!
