My first Illamasqua Purchase

I picked this up on a whim.  Since one of my friends, Gina had such a bad experience with the brand I just didn't think that it was worth the money.  Its somewhat comparable to MAC but harder to acquire.
I got the color Hermetic in the intense lipgloss.
It has a slanted tip applicator.
I found the tip to hard to use on its own.  I prefer a lip brush to get this on evenly.
Yeah, its looks like blood.  They weren't kidding around with the word intense.

Would I buy again? Maybe if another color struck my fancy.  They are more expensive than MAC glosses which is my high end so it really has to be a cool color that I can't find elsewhere.

Thank you for looking!

My Cham-pale

I was pretty excited to see the Cham pale collection come out from MAC.  A lot of nudes and shimmer.  I purchase online as soon as it came out to make sure I got the items I wanted for sure.  MAC is coming out with so many collections back to back and they make such limited quantities that it is quite frustrating.  I know that the collection came out on the 26th of December and by New Years Day they were already sold out of the eyeliner online.

Here is what I got from my online order.
I based my choices off of Temptalia's swatches and review videos and recommendations.  I can't say enough good things about her.  Christine does a wonderful job of showing true to color swatches and excellent recommendations based off of your skin tones.
So lets start off with Bubble Lounge.  Its a Lipgelee.  I love these.  They are my favorite.  I guess because the inner money pincher in me wants to make sure I get every last bit of lipgloss out of the tube before I chuck it in the trash.  Although with MAC you can keep 6 containers and return it to MAC for a lipstick or shadow for FREE!!!  Bubble Lounge is a pinky shimmer.  Let me correctly phrase it, a Shimmer Pink.  Yeah there is soooo much glitter in these you have to make sure you don't end up with it on your chin!
Because I love lipgelees I got another in

Straight to the Head.  So makes me want to make potty jokes but this turned out to be my favorite out of this purchase.  Its still Shimmer then color but the Shimmer is toned down a bit with the darker color.

They had a lot of new paint pots in this collection but the one I wanted at first looks too much like an Aqua Cream that I already own.  Dangerous Cuvee is a dupe for #2 MUFE.  I love paint pots but Aqua Creams hands down do not crease on my hooded lids like paint pots.  Mind you, I am talking about with no shadow to set it.
Anyhoo, I picked up

Vintage Selection.  Its pretty cool.  Very shimmery.  Now onto some pics instead of boring pictures of the boxes.
From Left to right Vintage Selection, Straight to the Head and then Bubble Lounge.

They are very similar in shades as you can see from the swatches below.
From Left to Right, Vintage Selection, Bubble Lounge and then Straight to the Head.

I am really happy with the products I picked up.  Hopefully with all of the collections out they still have them left at your counter to pickup!

Thanks for looking.  Part two coming soon.

Digi Pop Glitter Bomb

I picked these up from CCO.  I had passed this up from the original release but wished I hadn't.
Well it turned out to be a good reason to pass up.  These end up sucking big time.
I got 4 colors. Sorry for the blurry pictures.
Unfortunately, these are all glitter bombs.  I noticed that just after about an hour of use the sparkles show up on my chin.
Kinda of blurry but the names are Snazzy, Wham, Infused with Glam and Baby's On Fire.
Thanks for looking!

Lush Haul

I picked up a couple of items from Lush before all of the Xmas stuff is gone.

I picked up this sugar scrub called Sugar Plum Fairy.  It smells great but I think that with one use it will crumble to pieces.
I also got this bubble bar called Christmas Eve.  You can easily crumble this up to make a couple of baths.  The jasmine does really shine thru and the bath gets this wonderful blue color.

I got two skin bars. This one called Kin of skin and Buffy.
Right off the bat I love the name Buffy!  Who doesn't love Buffy?  Well I guess that I don't. I can't stand the bar.  Its waxy that doesn't seem to heat up and then after repeated use it just get scratchy.  Yeah I know is suppose to be a body scrub but it really does not inspire me to rub on my ample backside.
Where as King of Skin is a different story.  I really like this body butter.  It melts quite easily and leaves my skin feeling great.  The only thing that is a negative is that it is to big to use the tin.  You have to wear it down a bit before you can take it on the go.

Thanks for looking!

Once a Year don't pass up

This is a massage bar from Lush.  It is a holiday fragrance.  I love these massage bars they really hit the spot in the winter when my skin is so dry.
This one is called Once a Year.  Its suppose to be a mustache on the front of the bar.  Whatever looks funny but its how it smells and works that matters.  Works just like any other massage bars and smells like candy.
As you can see it is about the same size as the Wicky bar but thinner.
Considering that it doesn't have all of the beans in the bar I like it much better.

Pick one up in a Lush store near you before they are all gone!

Stars and Rockets Oh My!

I saw this color on a girl in the mall and had to stop her and ask her what color she was wearing.
Stars and Rockets!
This shade is really hard to capture on camera.  It is so multi tonal that it just screams to be worn.
Some lights its pink some its more purple.  Its also got a beautiful blue undertone.
When I wear it I always get so many compliments on it.  So I definitely recommend it as a great purchase.

Thank you my buttercups,
Mo
